Joharabai Ambalewali, Rajkumari, Talat Mehmood, Durani, Mohammad Rafi, Geeta Dutt, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Amirbai Karnataki and other playback singers were presented in "Kohinoor Geet Gunjar"

Ajit Sheth had also done his bit for the preservation of vintage film music of many popular Hindi music directors of yester years and also promoted young talented playback singers by producing "Kohinoor Geet Gunjar", a weekly radio show which stormed the AIR waves every Sunday between 1970 and 1982. and various musical programmes like 50 years of play back, Tagore in Hindi film, New Theaters, Melodies, etc. Old timers like Juthika Roy, Phani Mazumdar, Salil Ghosh etc. were honoured by the Sheths.

Sheths are also responsible for introducing great talents to the world of Gujarati music. These include the famous playback singers like Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy and A. Hariharan along with Harish Bhimani. Bangladesh’s famous singer Runa Laila participated in a musical soiree in 1976 presented by Sangeet Bhavan Trust”. She was later introduced to the Hindi film industry by the Sheths.
